Some thoughts on Conserative rhetoric…

All the “Conservative Job Creating Small Govt BS” being spouted about here seems to conveniently gloss over the fact that the current crop of Conservatives has yet to present a single Jobs Bill even though that was they were supposedly elected by a landslide to do. They’ve been otherwise occupied with shrinking Govt involvement in our lives by legislating the wombs of every woman in the country, trying to legislate every OB/GYN in the country by forcing them to read some “non-intrusive” script and force sonograms on every pregnancy in the nation. They “non-intrusively” worry about Adam marrying Steve. They “non-intrusively” decide that Unions are evil. ETC ETC ETC. Now I’m sure some Fox Cultist out there will find some way of dismissing everything I’ve written here and still say that what Conservatives really want is less govt in our lives, but I’d really like them to explain to me how any of the things Conservatives have been trying to accomplish since the last election is going to create a single job, or save a single house, or lessen in any way the govt’s impact on our everyday lives?
